BACKGROUND

University outreach is one of the main focuses of our Strategic Plan for Development 2013-2023, and in order to keep improving, commitments and recommendations have been established in former accreditation processes. We have been progressing in this field and strengthened it by creating the Outreach and Community Engagement Division, university outreach divisions at the faculties´ level, the University Outreach Policies and the University Outreach Regulations for our institution. However, we still have to assess the impact on university outreach and the systematization of monitoring of the activities that have been carried out in the different units. Since there are certain difficulties to keep record of the activities, there is no specific data available for decision- making or for the comprehensive planning of activities that allow to support the self-evaluation processes.

OBJECTIVE

To design a system for the registration of university outreach activities at the institutional level.
